MLK weekend shootingsA series of shootings in Long Beach over the weekend left multiple vehicles and a home with damage, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

No injuries have been reported, LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona said.

Friday, January 15

Officers responded to a shots heard call near Elm Avenue and Louise Street in North Long Beach at 5:05PM, during which police subsequently found a vehicle with damage.

Saturday, January 16

A shots heard call led police to the 1300 block of Walnut Avenue in Cambodia Town at 3:30AM. Officers found the exterior of a residence and three vehicles with damage, according to Arrona.

Sunday, January 17

At 6:17AM officers were dispatched to a shots heard call near the 1700 block of East 17th Street in Long Beach’s Eastside. Arrona said officers found evidence of a shooting.

Officials are investigating each incident.
