Two juveniles were arrested Tuesday afternoon for breaking into a Belmont Shore home, the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) said.

An LBPD officer was flagged down by someone in the area of Second Street and Bayshore at about 12:15PM in regard to two male suspects who broke into his home, said LBPD spokeswoman Nancy Pratt.

The officer located the suspects on the Second Street bridge. The suspects, who are both 16 years old and from Long Beach, were arrested and booked for residential burglary.

No further information was available, and the investigation is ongoing. We will update this story as we learn more.
