Two underage males were arrested following an armed robbery Wednesday in Long Beach, authorities said.

Police responded to a call of a strong arm robbery on 7th Street, east of Cherry, at about 12:30AM on Wednesday, August 3, said Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokesman Sgt. Brad Johnson.

“During the investigation, officers located two suspects in the area matching the description from the robbery,” Johnson said. “Both suspects were male juveniles and were arrested.”

Authorities also recovered the loss from the robbery with witnesses identifying the items.

The two suspects were also found in possession of a firearm that authorities do not believe was used in the robbery.

The investigation remains ongoing.
