Long Beach police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly touched a minor inappropriately at a local restaurant Sunday evening, the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) announced today.

Officers were dispatched Sunday at 8:00PM to a restaurant in the area of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Second Street. Their initial investigation indicated that an adult male suspect inappropriately touched a 10-year-old child in the men’s restroom and fled, according to a release issued by the LBPD.

Officers searched for the suspect following the incident, but he remains at large. Law enforcement agencies have been alerted, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the LBPD.

The suspect is described by the police as either hispanic or white, between 20 and 30 years old, with a thin build, dark hair and a mustache. He was reportedly wearing a red hoodie, dark pants, and a baseball cap, as the security footage shows.
