A fight with another woman in Long Beach resulted in a woman being stabbed in the upper torso early Tuesday morning, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).

LBPD officials responded at 12:09Am near East 7th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, according to Lt. Mark Coble.

Upon arrival, police found the victim and took her to a nearby hospital. Her injuries were not life-threatening, and she was displaying stable vital signs, said Coble.
