Long Beach students headed back to school will get the full McDonald’s treatment Tuesday, September 13 from 6:30 to 9:30AM, with a free breakfast, courtesy of the chain.

And it won’t just be any Egg McMuffin on the menu of breakfast items: kids will have a host of wholesome items to choose from, including a choice of any breakfast muffin sandwich, apple slices, Yoplait Go-gurt strawberry yogurt, milk and more.

“The owner-operators support the well-being of children, they support the community and they want to remain close to the community where they live and work,” said CaCera Richmond, a spokesperson for the effort.

The Long Beach McDonald’s branches will be hosting the event along with other branches across Southern California.

A release was quick to mention Mcdonalds’ announced removal of artificial preservatives from their breakfast pork sausage patty, omelet-style eggs and scrambled eggs on breakfast platters.

Time to grab that breakfast and go. It’ll only be free for a limited time, with particular love shown to students this special time of year.
