Rising TIDE at Marguerite Kiefer Education Center will host a one-day rummage and book sale next Friday in the parking lot of Covenant Presbyterian Church, organizers recently announced.

Proceeds will benefit the after school drop-in program that provides over 400 inner city children and youth in downtown Long Beach with academic support, mentoring, cultural enrichment, arts, sports, recreation and nutrition.

All unsold items will be donated to Christian Outreach in Action (COA) and national book collection programs.

The event will be held Friday, June 19 from 8:00AM to 4:00PM.
