A Metro Blue Line train collided with a vehicle in downtown Long Beach Friday afternoon but no one was injured, authorities said.
The crash happened at 3:18PM on Friday, April 8 near Pacific Avenue and 3rd Street, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokesman Brad Johnson said.
Johnson said no one was injured.
There were 30 passengers aboard the three-car train that was traveling northbound from the downtown Long Beach station to the Pacific Station, Metro spokeswoman Kim Upton told the Post. The incident initially caused 20-minute delays in the Long Beach Loop, she added.
It was unknown how many occupants were in the vehicle.
The investigation remains ongoing.
