The public is invited to attend Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine’s free annual Registration and Recreation Class Expo this Saturday, August 1 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at the El Dorado Park Community Center. If you’ve never taken a recreation class before or you’d simply like a taste of what’s to come this fall, the expo will showcase the classes the department has to offer.

See performances at the expo, including Hula Dancing, Martial Arts, Fitness, Tap Dance and Mexican Dance, and gather information about the department’s over 450 classes for ages preschool to senior citizen including art, music, dance, career enrichment, cooking, language, sports and more. Meet instructor Jack Voas, who teaches the Stained Glass class or instructor Hoku Bray, who teaches Hula Dance and Ukulele.

Below is a partial list of the instructors who will be present to answer questions and shed a little light on how learning something new at any age can be an absolute blast. Thank you, Parks and Rec!
