Multiple retailers have opened for business this spring at the new 266,000-square-foot Long Beach Exchange development in East Long Beach, with more expected to open in the coming weeks.

The 26 acres of retail space is situated on the southwest corner of Lakewood Boulevard and Carson Street within Douglas Park. LBX features three distinct zones, including McGowen’s Approach, considered LBX’s ‘main street’, a central plaza named The Landing and The Hangar.

Stores that are now open include Orchard Supply Hardware, Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom Rack, AT&T, Wholefoods 365, Groundwork, Yellow Fever, Petsmart, Dunkin Donuts and Mod Pizza.

Portola Coffee Roasters, Bite Mi, Amor y Taco, Popbar and Black Sheep will join The Hangar this fall, according to LBX’s website

Still in development, The Landing will include GritCycle, a boutique indoor cycling studio, Ra Yoga, a boutique yoga studio and Orangetheory Fitness, a nationally-known boutique fitness studio.
