Police on Friday sought the whereabouts of an 85-year-old Long Beach man who has been missing for a week and needs medication.

Daryl Russell Grafious suffers from unspecified medical conditions and hasn’t taken his medication since last Friday, when he was seen about 3 p.m. in the 4100 block of Elm Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department, which reported the octogenarian may be disoriented.

Grafious’ black 2013 Dodge Dart, license plate 7AVK244, is also missing.

Detectives believe Grafious may have visited a local restaurant on Wednesday.

Grafious is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 135 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He has a scar on his stomach, walks with a cane and may be wearing a black jacket and red pants, police said.

Anyone with information regarding Grafious’ whereabouts was urged to call police at (562) 435-6711 or 911.
