The VA Long Beach Healthcare System is hiring and will host a job fair on Saturday, July 29 for veterans and other qualified personnel to apply for open positions.

Veterans, persons with disabilities and current or former federal employees searching for a job are encouraged to come out to the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center’s Learning Center Building 165 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM this Saturday to apply for a variety of positions within the VA Long Beach Healthcare system.

The majority of positions they will be accepting resumes for will be with the Medical Health Care Group (HCG) and the Surgical HCG. They are also looking for employees to work with Spinal Cord Injury, Geriatrics, Rehabilitation Medicine and Extended Care, Environmental Management Service and Primary Health Care. Leadership opportunities and sterile processing service jobs are also available.

Potential employees attending the event are asked to bring a resume listing hours worked per week and dates worked. Veterans should bring copies of their DD-214 and disabled vets should bring documentation showing the disability percentage awarded to the vet. Current and former federal employees should bring a copy of their most recent SF-50. People applying for more than one job should bring multiple copies of documentation.
