A juvenile pedestrian sustained minor injuries when he was struck by a vehicle in front of St. Anthony High School in Long Beach Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched to the East Village neighborhood, near Olive Avenue and Sixth Street, on Wednesday, November 4, at 7:23AM, according to Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Marlene Arrona.

A young man was seen on the ground surrounded by other pedestrians and what looked like the involved vehicle nearby, according to a witness. It was not confirmed if he was a student. 

The investigation is ongoing, Arrona said.

No additional information was available at this time. The Post will update this story as we learn more.
