Six members from the Long Beach State women’s golf team is set tee off at this year’s 80th Annual Long Beach Women’s City Championship.

Thirty-six holes will be played over two days on two different courses. The first 18 holes will be played at Recreation Park and the last 18 will take place at El Dorado Park.

Freshman newcomer Rochelle Chan, Sophomore Reece Feducia, juniors Monica Villarreal and Noelle Zavaleta and seniors Lindsey McAtee and Reina Rogers will begin play on Thursday morning (Jun. 17) at Recreation Park.

In honor of former LBSU women’s golf head coaches Marty Walker, Millie Stanley and Sue Ewart, the Long Beach Golf Festival has donated over $9,000 to scholarships to the 49er women’s golf program the past six years. For more information log onto www.lbgolffestival.com.
