3:55pm | The United States Youth Volleyball League (USYVL) is in need of a Volleyball Instructor (Clinician) for the upcoming Spring 2012 Season at Long Beach Los Altos Park.

USYVL Clinicians must be 18 years or older and comfortable in giving instructions to the players and volunteer coaches/assistant coaches. Clinicians also must be dependable, enthusiastic, and either have experience playing or coaching volleyball at the High School, College, or higher level.  The USYVL offers a small stipend for Clinicians.

USYVL clinicians teach the fundamentals of volleyball such as serving, passing, setting, and spiking, while promoting sportsmanship, confidence, self-esteem, and the love of volleyball.

The USYVL at Los Altos park meets Tuesdays and Saturdays starting April 17 until June 16, 2012.

The USYVL is an instructional league that welcomes both boys and girls between the ages of 7-15 to an eight week program where the motto is “Every Child Plays!” The USYVL’s mission is to help kids get active while teaching the fundamentals of volleyball. Every player who registers will receive a uniform t-shirt, his/her own volleyball, and a participation medal.
