Spots are still available to play in the 27th annual Long Beach City College Foundation Athletic Associates Golf Tournament. The event is set for Thursday, May 13, at the Lakewood Country Club.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Help support LBCC athletics with a great day out on the course. Four-person teams will compete in a scramble-format tournament. Price is $175 per person or $700 per four-player team.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Each player receives range balls, pre-tournament lunch, golf, electric cart, tee package, recognition awards dinner, and prizes.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s tournament will be held in memory of Dr. John Kashiwabara and Russ Jordan and will honor Sam Dimas.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Hole sponsor opportunities are also still available for $100.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

The Athletic Associates of the Long Beach City College Foundation acts as a support group for the men\u2019s and women\u2019s sports programs at LBCC and raises funds for purchasing athletic equipment, assisting student-athletes and helping with team travel expenses.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Since its formation, the Athletic Associates has raised over $400,000 for LBCC athletic programs.<\/o:p><\/p>\n
