You may remember back in January when we broke the story that Long Beach State was going to stop Shore Aquatics from using their pool after this year, ending a 30-year partnership that produced such great things for both programs; Shore, training on campus, won numerous national titles, and sent a number of great athletes to the university (current coach of Shore water polo Chi Kredell was an All-American for LBSU). <\/span>If you missed it, you can read all about what happened (and the astounding 94 comments left on the story) by clicking on this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n This story today is to tell you about the next chapter in the story\u2014this Wednesday, April 28th at 5pm, the relationship between the two LB institutions will officially come to a close at Shore’s last workout in the campus pool. <\/span>An email directed to Shore supporters and media read: LOCATION: Wednesday, April 28, 5-8:30 @ the CSULB pool Parking: Lot on Palo Verde Please come Support Shore and allow us to say Thank You for 30 years at the CSULB pool Come hear about Shore’s exciting future plans! The water may change, but the vision never will and the Shore Family is still growing strong! We would like to say Thank You for all the memories and make this a celebration of 30 years of polo and developing Long Beach Water Athletes. Moms, Dads, athletes, fans, Olympians: Everybody is coming! If you participated in this program on any level, please come and share our last night with us at CSULB. Use your facebook, twitter, texting to get the word out! We want EVERYBODY there for our last night!
