No one scored an earned run in a messy affair last night at Blair Field, but that was just fine with Cabrillo. The Jaguars rode an impressive pitching performance from Martin Agredano to a 4-1 victory over Jordan. The Panthers only got two hits off of the senior Agredano, who went the distance while striking out seven.<\/p>\n
“We’ve been waiting for this from Martin,” said Cabrillo head coach Erick Bryant. “We knew he had the capability, and he stepped up.”<\/p>\n
As has been the case all year, shortstop Louie Terrazas sparked the offense with a hit, a stolen base and a run scored. The Jaguars did a great job of taking advantage of the few Jordan errors.<\/p>\n
Cabrillo (1-3) gets its first league victory of the season and will see Wilson on Friday.
