With the formal announcement of Ron Massey’s retirement last Friday at Jordan’s basketball banquet, the Moore League has lost its longest-tenured basketball coach. <\/span>Massey had been coaching the boys’ basketball team for 29 seasons, since joining the school in 1981 (he was an assistant to Ron Palmer at Poly prior to that).<\/p>\n Massey led the Panthers to three CIF titles, in 1991, 1993, and 1996.
