It’s always nice to get instant validation after an off-season of improved effort and practice\u2014that’s what’s happening for the Millikan boys’ tennis team, who have started off 2-0, by sweeping both their opening matches 18-0. <\/span>First they topped Western, at the El Dorado courts, and then again they swept La Mirada.<\/p>\n Junior Brian Viene, the team’s top player since he was a freshman, has only given up one game so far this year. <\/span>He’s backed up by Dylan Carlson and Max Singletary in singles, and the combos of Jeff Jarzomb\/ Mike Syracopolus, Andy Ta\/Jeff Kwok, and Mack Ito\/ Kevin Bedoya on the doubles points.
