{"id":202,"date":"2015-10-20T19:05:41","date_gmt":"2015-10-20T19:05:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lbpost.com\/articles\/sports\/long-beach-city-college-football-ranked-first-in-state-and-southern-california-rank\/"},"modified":"2015-10-20T19:05:41","modified_gmt":"2015-10-20T19:05:41","slug":"long-beach-city-college-football-ranked-first-in-state-and-southern-california-rank","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/sports\/long-beach-city-college-football-ranked-first-in-state-and-southern-california-rank","title":{"rendered":"Long Beach City College Football Ranked First in State and Southern California"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-44617\" src=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/FB-_150919_1.jpg\" alt=\"FB- 150919 1\" width=\"620\" height=\"412\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Photo by John Fajardo.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Long Beach City College (LBCC) has taken the top spot in state and Southern California junior college football rankings, the school announced today.<\/p>\n<p>At 7-0, the Vikings earned 11 out of 13 first-place votes and 347 points to move up to the number one spot in the Junior College Athletic Bureau State Poll of California Community College Coaches, according to a release issued by the school.<\/p>\n<p>LBCC is just one of four unbeaten football teams in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Poll results also released Monday show LBCC in the top spot in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA)\/California Community Colleges Football Coaches Association (CCCFCA) Southern California National Division rankings as well.
