It wasn’t pretty, or particularly convincing, but Poly got what they needed out of Friday’s second-round CIF game: a win, as they took a long bus ride and narrowly edged Knight, 57-55.<\/p>\n
The Rabbits\u2014who were heavily favored to win, and handily\u2014were up six at halftime, and led 42-33 after three quarters. <\/span>But Knight played their way back into it in the fourth quarter, scoring 22 and forcing Robert Nixon to bail his team out with some clutch free throw shooting. <\/span>As expected, the advantage was inside, as Ryan Anderson and Roshcon Prince led Poly with 12 points each.
