{"id":2894,"date":"2009-11-07T10:05:00","date_gmt":"2009-11-07T10:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lbpost.com\/articles\/sports\/lb-football-roundup-week-ten\/"},"modified":"2009-11-07T10:05:00","modified_gmt":"2009-11-07T10:05:00","slug":"lb-football-roundup-week-ten","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/sports\/lb-football-roundup-week-ten","title":{"rendered":"LB Football Roundup: Week Ten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartFragment-->  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">So, as best we can figure it, here&#8217;s where we stand.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>Lakewood and Wilson play next week for the league title.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>If Lakewood wins, they have the title outright.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>If Wilson wins, they&#8217;ll share it at 5-1, and Wilson would be the league&#8217;s top seed.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>If Poly beats Compton, they&#8217;ll be 4-2 in league and\u2014if Wilson loses\u2014would be the league&#8217;s two-seed because of the tiebreak.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>If Compton beats Poly, Compton will be in the playoffs as the three-seed, and Poly will be out of the postseason for the first time in thirty years (there would be a three-way tie at 3-3 in third place, but Poly would be the odd team out having lost to both Millikan and Compton).<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>Millikan, regardless of what happens next week, is the four seed.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Cabrillo <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight:normal\">fought Poly to the brink, but made one too many mistakes in a 15-6 loss that could have gone either way. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lbpost.com\/sports\/poly\/7219\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here for the full story.<\/a><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Compton <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight:normal\">needed a win to stay in the playoff hunt, and got it against Millikan.
