The Vikings had a nice day of dominating East LA on the soccer field, and the volleyball team kept it going with a sweep win, rolling to a 3-0 South Coast Conference win on Friday night at LBCC. The Vikings swept the match by scores of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-11 to improve to 9-11 overall and 7-6 in the SCC. East L.A. fell to 4-12 and 4-10 in conference play.<\/p>\n
Freshman Seferin Starks led LBCC with 15 kills. Freshman Ceci Cisneros chipped in six kills and three blocks while freshman Courtney Foster added five kills and five blocks. The Vikings return to action Wednesday (Nov. 11) when they travel to Los Angeles Harbor College for a 6 p.m. SCC match.
