The Long Beach State Ice Hockey team has their home opener this Friday, and they have a request: black out Glacial Gardens. <\/span>When the 49ers take the ice against LMU Friday at 7:20pm (at the Glacial Gardens on Carson and Paramount), they want to see their fans showing their Black & Gold pride by wearing all black. <\/span>On Saturday, when they take on the San Diego State Aztecs at 7:30pm, they want everyone to show up in white.<\/p>\n The team is expecting a sizeable crowd, so get there early if you want to get a seat. General admission is $8, and Long Beach students are $2 with ID. There will be a VIP line for students or season ticket holders that have preprinted tickets. Plus, you can get half-off your admission by bringing used DVDs or video games (in GOOD condition) for the team’s collection going to Miller Children\u2019s Hospital.
