Long Beach State again took an early lead, but following a Rams timeout with the 49ers in the lead at 12-7, Fordham made a push behind a few errors by The Beach to tie the match at 14. Going to Washington for a kill, the 49ers remained in the lead, and despite eight ties in the set, never trailed despite never taking a lead of more than three points in the set.<\/o:p><\/p>\n
Ahead two sets to none, Long Beach State closed out the match with authority in the final set, never trailing.
