Former Long Beach State 49er Bryon Russell is in the news, thanks to his apparent archnemesis Michael Jordan. <\/span>Jordan immortalized Russell by hitting the 1996 game-winning championship shot over him (after what everyone and their mom has since called a push-off), and then called Russell out during his recent Hall of Fame induction, saying he’d challenge Russell to a game of one-on-one if he ever saw him.<\/p>\n Well, nobody ever called Bryon Russell a coward\u2014he’s fired back in recent days, telling Yahoo Sports’ Marc Spears, “I\u2019ll play his a\u2014 right now. <\/span>This is a call-out for him to come play me. He can come out here in his private jet and come play. He\u2019s got millions of dollars. He can pay for the jet.
