\"asicsvolleyball\"The ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball, to take place in Long Beach this upcoming July<\/a>, has invited non-professional players and community teams to register in order play side-by-side within the Grand Slam tournament itself.<\/p>\n

The week-long festival will have four- and six-person teams play in side courts that are directly adjacent to the main stadium court, providing local players the chance to experience “all things beach” in an entirely new way–including play alongside some of the most advanced players in the world.<\/p>\n

The Word Series not only includes the Grand Slam tournament–the first to occur within the U.S. since 2003–but also inaugurates the ASICS World Series Cup, which pits the top U.S. men’s and women’s teams against the world.<\/p>\n

The four-person tournament will occur July 26 while the six-person tournament will occur July 27 and 28. Final matches will be held on the center court. Included in registration are t-shirts and access to sand seating for the official concerts in Stadium Court as well as VIP access to the after parties.<\/p>\n
