Well, here we are again. <\/span>A year ago, we were kicking off our first season of high school sports coverage, with a preview that predicted Poly would be playing late in December, that Lakewood would have a pretty good offense, and that the Jordan Panthers would surprise some people. <\/span>And now we’re doing it even bigger and better, with our Massive 2009 Moore League Football Preview.<\/p>\n Each preview will give you a team’s storyline, to make it easy for even casual fans to get to know the city’s prep powerhouses. <\/span>We’ll give you each team’s full schedule, so you know where they’ll be and when, as well as a schedule analysis so you can anticipate the rise and fall of the season. <\/span>And, finally, we’ll give you five players to watch, so you can look smart when you bring your friends to the game. <\/span>In addition to the team-by-team stuff, you can click here<\/a> to check out our first-ever Moore League preseason coaches’ poll, to see how the playcallers think this thing will shake out. <\/span>After that, you can click here<\/a> to see a week-by-week master schedule for all the Moore League teams. <\/span>And if that’s not enough, JJ cut a little clip together with some footage we took while we were driving around putting this thing together\u2014just a teaser to get you through the next week.<\/p>\n All in all, we’re confident in saying it’s the biggest Moore League football preview of all time. <\/span>Hopefully, you’ll think it’s also the best\u2014we couldn’t be more excited heading into the most wide-open year in recent memory for the league. <\/span>Is it Friday yet?!?!<\/p>\n Cabrillo Jaguars<\/strong>: Last year they went 0-10 and allowed 360 points more than they scored\u2014but hope springs eternal at Cabrillo, where the developing Jags are ready to put the past behind them. Click here for our Cabrillo preview<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Compton Tarbabes<\/strong>: The Tarbabes have the talent to win any game this year, but unfortunately, they will again suffer the consequence of being the smallest enrollment in the Moore League. Jordan Panthers<\/strong>: Jordan has been building momentum since last October, when the other Moore League teams were forced to take notice. Lakewood Lancers<\/strong>: Everyone has their eyes on the Lancers, and the only question is, can they handle the pressure? With a confident team of offensive seniors and defenders with something to prove, there might be no limit to where Lakewood can go this season, especially if they can get a good start. Poly Jackrabbits<\/strong>: Everyone knows about the tradition and the history\u2014but there will be a lot of new, young faces on the field for Poly this year, trying to carry that standard into the future.
