— Tyler Jackson and Janisa Johnson won the Silver flight of Sunday\u2019s pairs tournament, and went 4-0 on Saturday, helping the 49ers again nearly topple the No. 1 Waves in the finals of the team portion of the USAV Invitational.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Golf<\/strong>
at Fresno State Lexus Classic<\/em>
–49ers win team title by one stroke over Tulsa with a 28-over 892.
–Senior Simone Hoey captures individual medalist honors with a 5-under 211, recording her second career title and leading LBSU to their second tournament title this season.<\/p>\n

No. 10 Women\u2019s Water Polo (23-6, 4-3 Big West)<\/strong>
Lost vs. No. 6 UC Irvine, 4-3
–The women\u2019s water polo team completed its best regular season finish since joining the Big West compiling more wins this year than the previous four combined.<\/p>\n

Won at UC Santa Barbara 8-4
–Michael Hill and Jeff Yamaguhi hit back-to-back home runs for Long Beach State on Saturday, the first back-to-back home runs for the Dirtbags since the 2011 season.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Golf<\/strong>
at Winchester Classic<\/em>
–49ers finish in seventh place out of 11 teams at 28-over 892.
–Senior Philip Chian ties for 17th at 6-over 222.<\/p>\n

–The 49ers advance to the MPSF semifinals for the second time in three years.<\/p>\n
