Won vs. No. 5 Hawai\u2019i 5-0
Won at Irvine Valley College 5-0
–Long Beach State is now 2-0 against both USC and Hawai\u2019i, the 49ers\u2019 main
competition to make a second straight trip to the AVCA National Champion-
ships.<\/p>\n

Softball (25-15, 7-2 Big West)<\/strong>
lost to Cal State Fullerton 4-1
def. Cal State Fullerton 1-0
def. Cal State Fullerton 7-4
–The 49ers tallied their second conference win of the season. The team over-
came a 4-0 de\ufb01cit in the \ufb01nal game, scoring seven runs in the third inning to win.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Golf<\/strong>
–49ers \ufb01nishes in 11th place (15 teams) at 86-over par 950.
–Freshman Shawnee Martinez places 16th (+10), posting her second career top-
20 \ufb01nish.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Tennis (17-3, 7-1 Big West)<\/strong>
def. Sacramento State, 6-0
def. UC Davis, 6-1
def. Paci\ufb01c, 5-2
–Klaudia Malenovska, Sarah Cantlay and Anne-Sophie Willems went undefeated
as the 49ers won three matches in three days on a dif\ufb01cult road trip to northern
California. LBSU has now won nine matches in a row, dating back to March 7th.<\/p>\n

No. 9 Women\u2019s Water Polo (22-4, 3-2 Big West)<\/strong>
Won vs. No. 13 Cal State Northridge, 11-5
–Chelsea Parks (4) and Claire Martin (3) guided Long Beach State to its \ufb01fth-con-
secutive victory with an 11-5 win over CSUN Saturday.<\/p>\n

Baseball (12-18, 3-3 Big West)<\/strong>
Lost at Paci\ufb01c 3-1
Won at Paci\ufb01c 6-2
Lost at Paci\ufb01c 8-6
–Jeff Yamaguchi hit the team\u2019s second inside-the-park home run of the season,
also hitting a triple during the team\u2019s series at Paci\ufb01c.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Volleyball (21-7, 17-6 MPSF)<\/strong>
Won at USC, 3-0
Won at #5 Pepperdine, 3-2
–Junior Dalton Ammerman \ufb01nished with 20 kills to lead the 49ers to a 3-2
comeback win at Pepperdine.<\/p>\n
