–Karli Sandoval led the team with three homeruns, while bringing in 8 RBI as the team finished the tournament 2-3<\/p>\n

Women’s Basketball (14-11, 7-6 Big West)<\/strong>
Won at Cal State Fullerton, 58-56
Won at UC Riverside, 80-66
–The 49ers shot a season-high 51.9 percent in their win over the Highlanders.<\/p>\n

Women’s Golf<\/strong>
at The Gold Rush presented by Farmers<\/em>
–LBSU captures team title by 10 shots over second-place Gonzaga.
–Freshman Shawnee Martinez finishes in second, just one stroke behind first.<\/p>\n

Women’s Tennis 6-1 (4-0 Big West)<\/strong>
Won at San Diego State, 4-3
Won vs. No. 65 Hawai’i, 4-3
–Freshman Anne-Sophie Willems went 4-0 in singles play over the weekend, winning all of her matches in straight sets.<\/p>\n

#11 Women’s Water Polo<\/strong>
at Lancer Invitational<\/em>
Lost to #2 USC, 9-1
Def. Cal Baptist, 8-3
Def. Occidental, 13-6
Def. Calgary Renegades (Exhibition), 12-6
–Melissa Matheson led the 49ers with six goals while Kelly Ringel finished with 37 saves over the weekend as the 49ers went 2-1 at the Lancer Invitational.<\/p>\n

Baseball (1-2)<\/strong>
Lost at No. 2 Vanderbilt 10-4
Lost at No. 2 Vanderbilt 12-2
Won at No. 2 Vanderbilt 13-9
–Junior Jeff McNeil led the Dirtbags with six hits on the weekend against Vanderbilt on the road in Nashville.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Basketball (16-9)<\/strong>
Defeated Cal State Fullerton 85-65
Defeated UC Riverside 75-35
–The 49ers extended their conference home winning streak to 25 games. James Ennis became the first Div. I player to score at least 26 points, grab 15 rebounds and have four steals. LBSU held UC Riverside to 35 points, the lowest for an LB opponent since the 1980-81 season.<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Volleyball (11-4, 9-3 MPSF)<\/strong>
Won vs. #11 Pacific, 3-0
Won vs. #3 Stanford, 3-0
–Junior Taylor Crabb led the 49ers to back-to-back three-set victories as he averaged a team-high 4.83 kills per set while hitting at a .397 clip.<\/p>\n
