After that unbelievable contest against Grossmont<\/a> to advance to the State Super Regional, the Vikings’ fairy-tale postseason came to an end at the tourney at Palomar.<\/p>\n

The Vikings fell into an early hole with a 6-0 loss to Santa Ana in the first round on Friday, before rebounding to beat Mt. SAC 2-1, their first victory over Mt. SAC this season (they lost three times in the regular season).  <\/span>That set up a game against Palomar in Saturday’s second elimination game for the Vikings—and there the road ended, as LBCC fell 7-3.<\/p>\n
