**Advancing to CIF<\/i><\/p>\n

Here are your final league standings, final for the 2009 season.  <\/span>Millikan fell to Lakewood, but considering that they’re league champs, and that of the 100 runs scored in their games, only nine were against them, there’s probably not much head-hanging in East Long Beach.  <\/span>Poly and Lakewood tie for second to finish the season, but Poly will go into the playoffs as the two-seed by virtue of their head-to-head record.  <\/span>Wilson rounds out the playoff entrants, while Jordan, Cabrillo, and Compton are all done for the year.<\/p>\n
