We reported a few weekends back about the great success that bone marrow registry service Be the Match had in signing up new donors. <\/span>The hope is that by expanding the donor network, patients like local ballplayer Dallas Humphreys will have an easier time finding a match.<\/p>\n There will be one final drive at Blair Field this Sunday, from 10am-4pm, in conjunction with the Dirtbags game. <\/span>Long Beach Memorial will also be accepting blood donations—there will be free ice cream for blood donors.
