Lost vs. No. 11 North Carolina 78-63
–A record-setting 6,912 fans came to the Walter Pyramid to watch Long Beach State play the Tar Heels on Friday, November 16.<\/p>\n

Women’s Basketball (2-2)<\/strong>
Lost at Loyola Marymount, 58-52
Won vs. Washington, 71-62
–The 49ers shot over 40 percent from the field and were 10-of-24 from 3-point range in the win against the Huskies.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Volleyball (16-11, 11-5 Big West)<\/strong>
Won vs. UC Irvine 3-1
–Freshman Alex Reid made 18 kills, including nine in the final set, to lift Long Beach State to a win in the Black and Blue Rivalry over UC Irvine.<\/p>\n

No. 6 Men’s Water Polo (22-7, 4-4 MPSF)<\/strong>
Won vs. No. 7 UC Santa Barbara 12-10
–Dan Matulis and Nolan McConnell each recorded hat tricks for the 49ers while Balint Meszaros grabbed 11 saves in the 12-10 victory to finish the regular-season in fifth-place.<\/p>\n
