Yesterday afternoon, the Wilson Bruins boys’ golf team opened dual match play with a narrow loss to the Los Alamitos Griffins at Skylinks Golf Course. <\/span>On the Par 36, Los Al edged out the Bruins 179 to 182, an impressive pair of team scores since the Griffins were a combined -1 to the Bruins’ combined +2. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Senior Adam Oser led the Bruins with a one under par round of 35. Boris Stantchev, O’Neill Cowan, and Jake Hutton all added even par rounds of 36 for the Bruins.<\/span><\/p>\n Los Alamitos got stellar play from freshman John Lee, who earned medalist honors for the match by posting a three under par round of 33. Junior John Kim was one shot back of Lee with a two under par round of 34.<\/span><\/p>\n On Thursday, Long Beach Wilson plays Fountain Valley at Old Ranch Country Club at 2pm.
