If this isn’t soccer, I don’t know what is—after 80 minutes of soccer, 22 shots, and 11 saves, the Cabrillo Jaguars and the Jordan Panthers boys’ soccer teams ended their Friday afternoon match in a scoreless tie. <\/span>Cabrillo outshot Jordan 18-4, including 10 on-goal balls. <\/span>“It was free kick after free kick on the frame, headers off the post,” said Cabrillo head coach Pat Noyes. <\/span>“Their goalie did a great job. <\/span>We just couldn’t finish.”<\/p>\n Cabrillo maintained possession for the majority of the match, but were held scoreless for the second time in a league match this season. <\/span>The Jags now sit at 1-1-2, and the Panthers fall to 3-1-1, with a loss to Wilson. Jordan will next face Millikan next Friday, while Cabrillo will finally get to host a game on their field, after playing their first four on the road.
