In their Moore League opener, the Poly Jackrabbits girls’ basketball team beat the Lakewood Lancers by a score of 72-25. <\/span>Leaders for the ‘Rabbits were Thaddesia Southall, with 19 points and 12 rebounds (which ties her high point-mark for the season) and Brittany Wilson, who scored nine points and nabbed a season-high seven steals. <\/span>Poly starts their Moore League schedule 1-0, and the Lancers begin in a 0-1 hole—they’ll host Millikan on Friday at 5pm. <\/span>Poly will play host to a talented Wilson Bruins squad that nearly upset the Rams last night.
