<\/div>\n More than 20 Southern California swim teams and over 600 athletes came to the Bellflower Aquatic Center last weekend for the Metro Committee Blue Max Championship swim meet. A total of 81 swimmers from Lakewood Aquatics, which includes students from both Lakewood and Long Beach, competed and claimed first place in the large team division. Congratulations to all the swimmers and coaches for their hard work and dedication to competitive swimming and to Lakewood Aquatics!
The next meet, the Southern California Swimming Winter Age Group Champs, will be held December 13-14 at the Cerritos Olympic Swim Center. Thirty Lakewood Aquatics swimmers will represent the team at this meet. Five of those swimmers have also qualified for the Southern California Winter Invitational Meet to be held at the Belmont Olympic Pool from December 18 through December 21. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
