The Long Beach City College women’s basketball team suffered a 54-32 non-conference loss to Glendale College in its home opener on Saturday at the Hall of Champions Gym. <\/span>The loss dropped Long Beach to 0-5 while Glendale improved to 3-2.<\/span><\/p>\n Glendale held a commanding 29-13 at halftime and never looked back. <\/span>Despite outrebounding Glendale 47-35, LBCC shot just 20 percent from the field (10 of 49) for the game.<\/span><\/p>\n Sophomore guard Yumi Takano led LBCC with 12 points. She also added two assists and two steals.
