After a disappointing loss to Utah on Friday, the 49ers came out kicking (and scoring) against Utah State on Sunday, defeating them 3-0 to improve to 5-2-2 on the season. <\/span>Four of the five wins were shutouts in which the 49ers scored three or more goals.<\/span><\/p>\n The three goals in the second half tied a school-record. <\/span>The 49ers outshot the Aggies 10–5, allowing just one shot on goal, while posting their fifth shutout of the season.<\/span><\/p>\n LBSU finally broke through in the 75th minute, as Kim Silos took a pass from Mariko Strickland and found the lower right corner to make it 1-0.
