3:01pm | <\/strong>Long Beach State’s women’s water polo team will play three more Big West matches this season, all at the Long Beach State Campus Pool as the team concludes its regular season. <\/font><\/p>\n

 <\/span>The 49ers (11-14), who dropped their first two Big West games on the road last weekend, get an opportunity to get back on track with two more matches this weekend. First up is a match on Saturday against UCSB (19-10), whom the 49ers defeated 5-2 back in February in a non-conference matchup.<\/p>\n

The next day, Sunday, Long Beach State returns to the campus pool, facing another squad that the 49ers previously defeated, No. 14 CS Northridge (21-11). The 49ers topped the Matadors 10-7 back on Feb. 13 at the UC Irvine Invitational.<\/p>\n

 <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Long Beach State then closes the team’s regular season by hosting No. 10 UC Irvine with a night game at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 21. Prior to the beginning of that match, the team will honor its three seniors, Meaghan Leonard, Lauren Sieprath and Kristen Stragier, during a Senior Night ceremony.<\/p>\n

The team will then participate in the Big West Tournament hosted by UC Santa Barbara. The tournament will run from April 29 to May 1.<\/font><\/p>\n
