Trace Fukuhara was the recipient of the Arts Council for Long Beach Distinguished Artist of the Year award in 2012, and has been the recipient of countless public art commissions throughout the city. His Pacific Wind Arts Sculpture Garden continues to be both an iconic local landmark and an acclaimed example of urban place making.
