About Us
The Long Beach Post and Long Beach Business Journal are two of the city’s most recognizable news brands. The Post is a general audience daily news website founded in 2007, and the Business Journal is a digital and print publication serving the business community since 1987. Both publications are powered by the The LA Local, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit newsroom based in Los Angeles (EIN 99-0676194).
The mission of our work is to provide Long Beach readers with trustworthy, independent reporting that sparks debate, deepens understanding, and strengthens civic participation. Through our coverage and community initiatives, we aim to create an informed and connected Long Beach — one where people have the knowledge and confidence to shape the city’s future together.
Our Impact
