Yes, you heard that correctly. Genre-crossing, eight-time Grammy Award-winning Anderson .Paak will be making two separate appearances at two watering holes in Long Beach on Saturday night.

.Paak, under his pseudonym DJ Pee .Wee, will begin the evening at Solita in Downtown before he makes his way to his The Bungalow Long Beach within 2ND & PCH.

Before he begins his DJ set at The Bungalow, he’ll be hopping behind the bar to serve customers a variety of Paakito Mojitos at Solita, according to Alexis Fraser of the marketing agency Wagstaff. The drinks will be made with his SelvaRey Rum, which is also co-owned by Bruno Mars, Paak’s bandmate from the Grammy-winning supergroup Silk Sonic.

The event begins at 8 p.m., but .Paak will take over the bar around 10 p.m. Four mojito options will be available, including the Spicy Cucumber Mojito, which is served with SelvaRey White Rum, mint leaves, jalapeno, cucumber and lime juice, according to Fraser.

Solita Long Beach is hosting .Paak to promote its new weekly Mojito Monday. Solita has the capacity to host 318 people but Reservations are “highly” recommended and can be made here, according to the eatery.

Then, across town .Paak will get behind the turntables for a DJ set at 11:30 p.m. for The Bungalow Long Beach’s grand opening as a retooled space.

Owner and former MTV star Brent Bolthouse closed The Bungalow Kitchen in March to tear down the sit-down dining concept that he created with chef Michael Mina to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020. It is reopening to reflect his original vision for an “airy rock ‘n’ roll oasis,” similar to other locations in Huntington and Santa Monica.

Of .Paak’s rare appearance in Long Beach, Bolthouse told the Post: “It was a pretty unique scenario…We’re super excited to have him on board.”

Editor’s note: This story was updated with new information from Wagstaff detailing that .Paak will not be DJing at Solita after all. Instead, another DJ, who was not named, will perform a DJ set. It was also updated to reflect the amount of Grammy Awards .Paak has won.
