After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Celebration is returning live and in person to Central Long Beach on Jan. 14.
This year’s theme, “Continuing the Legacy,” was felt throughout the crowd.
The 30th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and Celebration will take place Saturday, January 13.
Senator Ricardo Lara and Long Beach firefighter Rex Pritchard are among those being honored as grand marshals in this weekend’s 27th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace & Unity Parade.
