The family of Syrah Shin has announced that the Long Beach Police Department picked up the missing teenager on Sunday evening.

The family has chosen to deal with the situation at hand before responding to media requests as to why she went missing.

16-Year-Old Syrah Shin Missing; Family Seeking Public’s Help

August 31, 11AM | The family and friends of 16-year-old Syrah Shin are seeking the public’s assistance in finding her since the teenager went missing on August 22.

According to Lorrie Marquez, a friend of the Shin family, Syrah has been seen once since August 22, in Signal Hill Park this past Friday. Marquez stated Syrah was with adult black male. When the friend approached Syrah and notified her that her family was worried, the adult male convinced the teenager to get into the vehicle with him and left. The family has since been in contact with both the Signal Hill and Long Beach police departments.

Syrah is black, stands 5’3” tall, and weighs 180 lbs. Her nose is pierced and she has an earing in her left ear. She may use the alias first name Lilliana and the alias last names Brown, Finley, Finley-Brown, or Morales.
