LBFD initially responded to reports of a traffic accident at 2:10 p.m. and found a vehicle collided into a building around 2200 block of Lewis Avenue, which is near Poly High.

At 3:20 p.m., LBFD’s Urban Search and Rescue Team, as well as the building inspector, were requested to assist with shoring up the building to prevent any collapse and to extricate two people from the vehicle, according to the fire department.

No information regarding gender or nature of injuries was immediately available, but both patients were transferred to a local hospital, said LBFD.
