11:30am | On March 26, 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, the Downtown Residential Council (DRC) will host two candidates forums at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA). The back-to-back forums will feature candidates running for the 2nd Council District and 47th Congressional District. The forums are free, open to the public, and all Downtown residents are encouraged to attend.
The 2nd Council District forum will be held from 7:00pm to 8:00pm with the following candidates confirmed to participate: Janet Ballantyne, Mike Kamer, and incumbent Vice Mayor Suja Lowenthal.
The 47th Congressional District forum will be held from 8:00pm to 9:00pm with the following candidates confirmed to participate: current 3rd District Councilmember Gary DeLong, Sanford Kahn, and Steven Kuykendall.
